The answer will find us

Sufi poet wrote "The universe surrenders to a mind that is still". And in order to truly fin The Path, each of us must loosen our minds, and begin from a point of wonder and openness-of being willing to not know. We must receive, before we can begin to give.

Thich Nhat Hanh, a monk from the Far East, says the most important gift anyone can give is a "mindful presence". He says how he takes three deep breaths and then says to the moon, "I see you moon. I am aware of your beauty, and I sense your pain. And I am here for you." He believes that if everyone would do this with their spouses and families and friends and animals and even the rocks and trees, the world would be a more peaceful place.

While contemplating the overall scheme of things, and your particular part in it, you take three deep breaths, and then say " I see you, World. I see your beauty. And I sense your pain. And I am here for you."

As we open ourselves, the answer will find us. In fact, the answer is already on its way.
