letter to editor in The Hindu

Modern parents do their best to insulate their children from poverty and the realities of life. They provide their children with money but do not teach them values. They choose the best schools for their children to score some brownie points in a kitty party or cocktail circuits. Aggression is eulogised, and encouraged. A nation such as ours cannot afford to wish away poverty. We need to realise that we are moving from deprivation to sufficiency not to prosperity. Imbalance needs to be addressed, if not our children will probably live in a socially volatile setting which will affect the coming generations.

About Me

India
No way I will never show my butt to you so you can brand it with a iron rod... so you can identify me a milch cow and suck my teat dry and finally have me for dinner. I keep moving and my thoughts keep moving too. You expect me to freeze on some point and tell myself 'HEY BEN THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE DOING CONSISTENTLY TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE' And you want me to do the same thing again and again so I can be successful. Come on sucker you are trying to deny me of the new things that come along my way in future by keeping my eyes transfixed on something that I saw yesterday and decided it will be good for my life. I know it works but it sucks. I will rather be lost in the herd, I will cross the line_the border & try out fresh pastures. I would rather be ripped apart by a mighty lion than be branded and taken care of some pleasure loving punk and supply milk for your latte and meat for your burgers.

who am I?

Wish I knew me. I find meself occuping the zone of creative tension. The idea of harpooning whales excites me no end but the commitment to preserve nature tugs my heart like crazy.

I like icecream but I wish my mind can just stay simple and enjoy the milk and sugar. The plainness of vanilla disturbs me I allow the bitter chocolate to drip on the holy white of vanilla and revel in its randomness and the bitterness of sweet. That toggling of taste between the sweet and the bitter drives me nuts.
